Kayak with Manatees & Spot Florida Wildlife

Your Orlando manatee kayak wildlife tour begins at the designated meeting point in Orange City. Arrive at least 15 minutes early to meet your guide, check in, and receive a full safety briefing along with paddling instruction if needed. This tour is beginner-friendly, and guides are happy to provide personal instruction before launch.

Once on the water, you’ll paddle for the full 2 Hours through calm riverways or spring-fed areas depending on the season. In winter months, tours launch near warm springs where manatees gather for heat. During warmer months, you’ll explore river habitats where manatees feed and move naturally through the ecosystem.

As you glide quietly through the water, keep your camera ready. Curious manatees may surface near your kayak, while turtles bask on logs and alligators sun themselves along the shoreline. River otters, wading birds, bald eagles, deer, wild boar, and even the occasional black bear have been spotted during tours.

Throughout the experience, your guide shares insights about Florida’s delicate ecosystem, wildlife behavior, and conservation efforts. The tour concludes back at the launch site after approximately 2 Hours on the water.
