This Guanacaste offshore fishing charter begins in Playa Flamingo where guests meet the crew before boarding a dinghy transfer to the offshore fishing boat. After a short safety briefing, the captain heads approximately 25 miles offshore toward prime sport fishing grounds in the Pacific Ocean.

Throughout the experience, guests troll for prized game fish including marlin, sailfish, mahi-mahi, tuna, and wahoo using professional fishing equipment provided onboard. The experienced bilingual crew assists with setup, fishing techniques, and guidance throughout the trip.

During the ride offshore, guests may encounter dolphins, sea turtles, or seasonal whales while enjoying open ocean scenery and the comfort of the fully equipped Boston Whaler. Refreshments, snacks, and lunch are provided throughout the day.

At the end of the charter, the crew returns to shore and prepares the catch for guests with professional cleaning and filleting services where permitted under Costa Rican fishing regulations.

Itinerario

6:50 AM – Meet at Playa Potrero meeting point
7 A.M – Dinghy transfer to the Boston Whaler
7:15 AM – Safety briefing and offshore departure
~8:00 AM–2:00 PM – Offshore trolling fishing experience
2:00 PM – Return toward shore
3:00 PM – End of charter

Requisitos

Recommended for guests ages 6 and older.
Guests handling fishing rods and age 18+ must purchase a Costa Rican sport fishing license.
Waiver signature is required before participation.
Vessel carries current liability insurance and permits are up to date.
Guests are not charged for equipment damage unless it is caused intentionally.
Guests should disclose dietary restrictions or allergies before the trip.
Seasickness does not qualify for refunds.
Catch-and-release regulations apply for marlin, sailfish, and roosterfish.

Delay Policy

Guides wait up to 30 minutes after the scheduled departure time. Lost time due to late arrival cannot be extended.
