Family Ranch Day: Horseback Riding and Homestyle Cooking.

Your day begins with a morning pickup and a scenic drive to a traditional ranch just outside San Miguel de Allende. Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed into authentic countryside life, where both adults and children can interact with farm animals and experience daily rural traditions firsthand.

The morning focuses on hands-on cultural activities, including learning how to make homemade tortillas and traditional salsas. While breakfast is prepared, children can collect fresh eggs and explore the ranch, making this experience especially engaging for families.

After breakfast, you’ll head to the stables for a horseback riding safety briefing and riding lesson. Once comfortable, the adventure continues with a long, scenic ride through the canyon, following riverbeds, shaded trails, and open landscapes at a relaxed pace.

Midday includes time to rest and enjoy a hearty meal before setting out on a second horseback ride. With extra time in the canyon, guests may search for quartz stones, explore hidden trails, and walk along the river, fully immersing themselves in nature before returning to San Miguel de Allende in the late afternoon.
