Surf Lessons for Beginners

Arrival and Setup
Begin your surf experience with convenient transportation to the beach. On arrival at either Playa Grande or Tamarindo, you’ll be greeted by your instructor who will set up a comfortable, shaded area with chairs and an umbrella for you to relax before and after your lesson.

Instruction and Warm-Up
Your instructor will start with a brief on land, covering surfing basics, ocean safety, and tips for catching waves. After practicing your stance and paddle technique on the sand, you’ll warm up with a few light exercises to get ready for the water.

Hitting the Waves
Once you’re ready, it’s time to take to the waves! With your instructor by your side, you’ll practice paddling, standing, and balancing on the surfboard in gentle waves perfect for beginners. They’ll offer guidance and support every step of the way to ensure you feel safe and confident.

Post-Lesson Relaxation
After your time in the water, unwind in the shaded area provided on the beach. Enjoy refreshing coconut water and fresh fruit as you bask in the sense of accomplishment, with plenty of time to capture photos and reflect on your surfing journey.
