Half Day Art Museum Tour & Snorkeling in MUSA

You’ll first board the boat and receive a warm welcome from the crew Once the boat approaches Manchones, you’ll receive instructions and snorkel gear. Then it’s time to jump into the water and explore the mysterious sculptures!

The sculptures of the Underwater Museum of Art are submerged in three galleries: Punta Nizuc, Punta Sam, and Manchones. The latter is located between the coasts of Cancun and Isla Mujeres and is currently home to 455 of the statues. This 5-hour tour consists of snorkeling in MUSA and then the Manchones reef where you can see schools of fish, turtles, rays, etc.

Sculptures to see in the area include: The Bay Cross, Man on Fire, The Dream Collector, Bacab, Anthropocene, Silent Evolution (450 sculptures), A Beetle, and The Promise. Currently, these mysterious statues are covered in algae and coral polyps, the plan worked and Cancun is now home to the largest artificial reef in the world.

We will do our best so that you can appreciate most of the sculptures (as long as the weather and visibility are optimal).
