The most impressive marine mammals in the whole wide world? Whales! Lucky for us, during the months of August, September and October, the beautiful Humpback Whales traverse the Pacific Ocean. It’s not uncommon for us to see them jump out of the water while watching the horizon. Sometimes you can even hear their moans, howls or ‘songs’ under water. They can last for hours as they travel vast distances through the sea. Humpback whales are by nature mostly gentle and non-aggressive animals. They are however very large and curious and will often approach boats.
