Experience a Basic SUP lesson that Includes a short tour depending on skill level and weather conditions.  Basic and Advanced are also offered together in a blended course. Successful participants will be awarded either a Basic or Advanced level certification.

Advanced SUP 2-3 hours and builds on skills learned in Basic SUP and focuses on improved efficiency when paddling, bracing, pivot turns, and more.

Note: We meet you there. Maximize your water time with South Island SUP. Willows Beach, Gonzales Bay, or Thetis Lake

  • Wear clothing suitable for the weather conditions and water activity (not cotton)
  • Bring a towel, and clothes (just in case)
  • Drysuits, boots & gloves can be added to your session for warmth and comfort any time of the year (additional fee applies).
  • Make sure you have a strap for your glasses
  • Leave your electronic keys, phone, etc. on shore, or rent a dry bag for your gear
  • Bring your own board, paddle, PFD, and whistle, or add on these items when booking. Ride, run, walk, bus, or drive to the beach!
