We start the tour at the historic Hudson Bay Building. Completed in 1922, this iconic building is now the home of the bustling Victoria Public Market. Here we will get a tour of the market that includes a decadent farm-to-table soup and an authentic Italian arancini (risotto ball). We then make our way to historic Chinatown where we visit the Chinese Public School and explore the vibrant culinary scene along colorful Fisgard Street.

After passing under the Gates of Harmonious Interest we stop at Wai Lai Yeun for a traditional baked Char Sui bun. A savory pork bun with a hint of sweetness baked fresh every day. We then visit Maiiz Nixtamal where chef Israel makes an authentic taco using his handmade tortillas. We then visit a beautiful French patisserie for a delightful pastry. Crossing through the infamous Fan Tan Alley, we make our way to trendy Dumpling Drop for some Thai-style fried dumplings.

We end the tour at one of the city’s best breweries, Whistle Buoy Brewing, to sip on some craft beer or a locally made soda. Please note stops may change due to availability.
