Eat like A Canadian Food

We start the tour at Finest at Sea where we will try some amazing local seafood like candied salmon or smoked sablefish. This business has been operating since 1977 and has one of the largest fishing fleets in BC. We then head next door to Imagine Studio Cafe where we try some Bannock, a traditional First Nations dish of fried bread.

We then head to Fisherman’s Wharf where we will sample one of Canada’s greatest inventions, the Hawaiian pizza! Learn more about the history of one of the world’s most divisive dishes. We take a leisurely stroll through historic James Bay to the Inner Harbour where we will pass some of Victoria’s most visited sights including The Pendray Inn, The Legislature Building, The Empress Hotel, and the stunning Waterfront Causeway.

We then stop at the historic Steamship Terminal Building for a unique maple syrup tasting and the most popular dessert in Western Canada, the Nanaimo Bar. We head to bustling Government Street to stop for a traditional poutine from a Canadian institution, Beavertails. We end the tour with a BC  wine tasting including an iced wine. Stops may vary depending on availability.
