Bioluminescence is a light-producing chemical reaction occurring within organisms including terrestrial glow worms and fireflies to marine plankton, jellyfish, octopus, squid, fish, sharks, and more.

Note: Complete location will be sent after booking.

  • A waterproof flashlight or headlamp is required for this tour. If you have your own please bring otherwise we have extras available.
  • Wear clothing suitable for weather conditions and water activity (layers are a good idea, avoid cotton).
  • Drysuits/wetsuits, boots & gloves can be added to your booking for an additional fee.
  • Bring a towel, and change of clothes (just in case and particularly if you plan to go in the water).
  • Use a strap for your prescription glasses or sunglasses (available for rent or purchase).
  • Leave your electronic keys, phone, etc. on shore or place them in a dry bag (available for rent or purchase).
  • Water/warm beverage (tea) and snack.
  • Sense of awe and wonder :>)
