Discover the backcountry wilderness of Antelope Island on a guided experience led by a Native American guide who shares thousands of years of cultural connection with this land. Despite being just one hour from downtown Salt Lake City, the west side of Antelope Island remains an untouched wilderness teeming with bison, mule deer, antelope, coyote, and hundreds of migratory bird species. This guided backcountry experience weaves together natural history, indigenous culture, native plant knowledge, and a deep respect for the land that shaped these traditions. Walking through land that has remained largely unchanged since pre-modernization offers rare perspective and a profound sense of place rarely found near a major city. An experience for curious, open-minded travelers seeking genuine connection with nature and Native American heritage.<\/p>","protected":false},"featured_media":424144,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false},"product_brand":[],"product_cat":[4183,4011,3515],"product_tag":[23685,1625,23687,23689,23686,23688,1466],"experience_type":[],"class_list":["post-424142","product","type-product","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","product_cat-mountain-biking-nature-tours","product_cat-park-city-utah","product_cat-united-states","product_tag-antelope-island","product_tag-cultural-experience","product_tag-great-salt-lake","product_tag-guided-backcountry","product_tag-native-american-tour","product_tag-utah-wilderness","product_tag-wildlife-tour","first","instock","virtual","sold-individually","taxable","purchasable","product-type-booking"],"booking_location":"","booking_location_type":"","booking_duration":1,"booking_duration_unit":"day","booking_buffer":0,"booking_cost":0,"booking_resources":[],"exclude_global_add_ons":[],"addons":[],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"\n
